This cotton kimono may look like a yukata, but it is actually called a nemaki and is meant for at-home use. They are also offered as robes at spas and hotels. Nemaki differ from yukata in that they are shorter, in a softer cotton, have narrow sleeves, are often lined in white cotton gauze, and might even have a pocket.
This nemaki robe features small bouquets of chrysanthemums - some outlined and some are filled in dark blue. There is a light blemish on the bottom front, see last photo. Priced accordingly.
Nemaki can be worn with a casual sash or even styled with a contemporary belt of scarf. We offer a simple cotton sash that can be added to your order by clicking the option above. We'll choose a color that goes with or contrasts nicely with the nemaki.
